The Beat app is no longer available following our plan to wind down the business. We would like to say a big thank you for using Beat as your trusted mobility application during these years. We hope to provide you with additional information on remaining questions on this page depending on your country.

The following entities operating the BEAT and Viral Code brands in Latin America (namely Beat Ride App, S.A. de C.V., Viral Code, S.A. de C.V., Beat Ride App Colombia SAS, Viral Code Colombia SAS, Beat Peru S.A., Beat App SAU, Beat Chile SpA, and Viral Code SpA) are part of the FREE NOW Group, which includes all subsidiaries of Intelligent Apps GmbH, a company established in Germany (Europe). After the winding down of all operations in the five (5) markets, the personal data of the users of the BEAT application, namely the drivers and the passengers will be transferred to the parent company, Intelligent Apps GmbH (“IntApps”), domiciled in Germany, at Neumühlen 19, 22763, in Hamburg.

IntApps will be the new data controller of the personal data collected from users of the BEAT app. IntApps will process the data in order to (i) respond to official authority and users’ requests and (ii) store the information in case of legal claims. All personal data will be deleted after three (3) years, with the exception of data required for tax and / or other financial requirements that will be retained for ten (10) years. Argentina

When will the Beat app and online presence be closed?
As you already know, since November 9th, 2022, the Beat app has been non-operational from midnight local time, meaning that it has only been accessible for passengers and drivers to access information and data but will not allow rides. The app will then close on December 8th, 2022.

I have not submitted my claim yet. How can I do this?
If you have not submitted your claim, you may do so by email: beatqueries@freenow.com . Please attach in the email all relevant information that you consider relevant to resolve your claim.

I have not gotten my claim resolved by December 8th, 2022. Where can I get support?
If your claim has not been resolved before December 8th, 2022, don't worry! You can send us the following information to the following email address beatqueries@freenow.com :

b. The content of the claim.
c. The evidence you consider necessary to resolve your case.
d. Any additional information you consider relevant.

Chile

When will the Beat app and online presence be closed?
The Beat app has remained available for use by both passengers and drivers in Chile, and will remain so until December 8th, 2022. At that point, it will transfer to being open for passengers and drivers to access information and data, but will not facilitate rides. The app will then close on December 31st, 2022.

I have not submitted my claim yet. How can I do this?
After December 8th, 2022, you can reach us using our email beatqueries@freenow.com in order to make your claim and receive support.
